This is something so basic but so important for foster children and foster families. We use them all every day and don't think about it. Most foster children will come to their foster homes with little to none of these items.
Here's some ideas of products to keep on hand for a foster child:

Washcloths or Hand Towels: For cleaning hands and bodies.
Soap or Body Wash: For cleaning the body, with options like baby-specific formulas for sensitive skin.
Shampoo and Conditioner: For hair care, with options for different hair types.
Deodorant: For older children to help with body odor.
Lotion or Moisturizer: To help with dry skin.
Oral Hygiene:
Toothbrushes: Different sizes and styles for various age groups.
Toothpaste: Fluoride-containing toothpaste for cavity prevention.
Floss: For cleaning between teeth.
Mouthwash: Optional, for added oral care.
Other Essential Items:
Hand Sanitizer: For on-the-go cleaning and to help prevent the spread of germs.
Tissues: For colds and sniffles.
