About Me
About Me
ElleMae is a 13 year old who enjoys spending time with friends, gymnastics, cheering for her school teams, and competing in pageants. She is an avid reader and enjoys volunteering in her community.
At the age of 6, ElleMae, along with her two younger siblings, were placed in the foster care system in Arkansas due to parental neglect and substance abuse.
ElleMae spent 704 days in the foster care system prior to being adopted by her forever family.
She is excited to share her foster care and adoption story in hopes of bringing education and awareness to the foster care system.
ElleMae developed her own personal platform/initiative, First Night for Fosters, and partnered with The Call NWA to support foster kids and foster families with basic hygiene products during their sometimes very scary and uncertain first night in foster care.
